Problem

The Cisco Webex Teams User Account Activation Email Not Received.

Solution

Follow the instructions if you did not receive the email to activate your Cisco Webex Teams account.

To Troubleshoot this Issue

Step 1. Verify the email is not in your spam/junk folder, and your mail server does not block emails from:

• webex.com
• em.webex.com

Step 2. Whitelist these IP addresses:

• 142.0.167.102
• 142.0.167.103
• 142.0.167.104
• 147.253.211.216
• 147.253.211.217

To Have an Activation Email Resent to You

Step 1. Navigate your web browser to https://teams.webex.com.

Step 2. Enter the email address that was used for the Cisco Webex Teams Online account, then select Continue.

Step 3. On the Sign in to Webex Teams page, enter your password, then select Sign In.

Step 4. On the Your account is pending activation page, click on the Resend link as shown in the image.

Note: You continue to get the account is pending activation email until your account is activated.

1. Go to the Campus Software Library or Cisco Webex Teams site to get the Webex Teams for Windows OS installation file.
1. Campus Software Library is a per-machine installer.
2. Cisco Webex Teams site is a per-user installer.
2. Navigate to where the downloaded file was placed and double click the file.
3. Select 'Next'.
1. You will be prompted to enter administrator credentials after performing this step if you downloaded from the Campus Software Library.
2. Installation will occur after performing the above step.
4. After installation has occurred, select 'Finish'.
5. The current user will now have Webex Teams installed. This will need to be repeated for other users of the computer.

1. Search for 'Webex Teams' from the start menu and run the application.
2. Select 'Agree'.
3. Select 'Get Started'.
4. Enter in your primary email address and select 'Next'.

5. Enter in your NetID and password. Select 'Login'.
6. Webex Teams will now be ready for you to use.
